Next installment of the Charlottesville Music Showcase features musician, mechanic, performance artist, welder, bicycle sculptor, Burning Man enthusiast and all-around Carny CHRISTIAN BREEDEN and his fantastic new band MYSTERIOUS CONCOCTION playing RAPTURE on WED DEC 7th.
Pulling from originals, off-the-wall covers and tunes from his old band American Dumpster, the Concoction’s self-styled brand of “Appalachian Carnival Rock” is like an audio Long Island Ice Tea, where the “spirits” are Tom Waits, Gogol Bordello and Hunter S. Thompson. Insane and unpredictable selections bracketed by beausoliel grooves and compelling stream-of-conscious narratives.
